About Your Host
Jessica Morse, artist
Greetings! I’m Jessica, a passionate creator who has reveled in the art world for many years. Throughout my creative journey, from exploring watercolors to delving into quilting, I’ve discovered joy in expressing myself through various mediums. However, when I was introduced to cyanotype art, a deep and instantaneous connection was formed.
Why did I fall head over heels for cyanotypes? It’s the perfect fusion of my adoration for art, nature’s wonders, the warm embrace of sunlight, and the flowing grace of water. My morning trail walks grew more inspiring as I immersed myself in observing and collecting plants to incorporate into my art.
Today, I am thrilled to intertwine this love with creativity, uniting all the elements I hold dear, to curate truly one-of-a-kind art pieces crafted exclusively for you. Each creation is a testament to my passion and an invitation to embrace the extraordinary beauty that lies within the realms of art and nature.
Meet the Chef (if choosing a catered event)
Elizabeth Tennison, chef
Like many others, Elizabeth Tennison grew-up in the kitchen. All the celebrations and sorrows lead her to cooking. She took time off from her previous profession and gave herself the gift of attending culinary school, graduating from Le Cordon Bleu.
She interned at one of the best restaurants on the West Coast and subsequently cooked in a busy Scratch kitchen on the Eastside.
She has catered weddings (including her own!), parties, intimate dinners, and themed events.
“What I do best is feed families. I take all my experience to elevate the everyday, giving my clients something that they haven’t had before.
When people come home from work they’re tired. They’re busy. Everyone is hungry. Now you have to come up with what’s for dinner. Source the ingredients. Make it. If it’s more than one dish it has to all be ready at the same time. It is hard. It is their Second Shift.”
Elizabeth can help with your Second Shift.
